Built for how electricians actually work

Certificates going missing

Attach EICRs, minor works and installation certificates to the job. Customers download them from their own page — no more "can you email that again?"

Big jobs, slow payers

Ask for a deposit when the customer accepts your quote, and chase the balance automatically when the job is done.

Subcontract work under CIS

Working for a main contractor? Turn on CIS and PaySorted shows the deduction on labour only — materials are left out, as they should be.

Automatic chasing

Never chase a customer again

Every electrician on PaySorted gets three ready-written reminders — Friendly, Professional and Firm — filled in with the customer's name, the invoice number, the amount and a payment link. They go out on schedule by email or text, and stop the moment the customer pays.

  • Before it's due, on the day, then 7, 14 and 28 days late
  • Sent from your business name — replies come straight to you
  • Customers can tap "I've paid by bank transfer" to pause reminders
  • Edit the wording and timings, or leave it to us

EICRs for landlords and agents

Doing EICRs for letting agents? Add the agent as the customer and the rental property as the site address — the invoice shows both, and the agent gets the certificate and the reminders.

Plus: quotes customers accept online, deposits, photos and certificates on each job, card and Pay by Bank payments, CIS and VAT on invoices, and Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent & Sage.

Deposits, text reminders, the customer page, the letter before action and accounting software connections are on the Pro plan and above. Everything else is on every plan.

Professional invoices, done right

Your logo and colours — or a clean name heading if you don't have a logo — with everything a UK invoice must show, whether you're a sole trader or a limited company, VAT registered or not. What must be on an invoice?

Questions from electricians

Can I attach certificates to an invoice?

Yes. Add photos and PDFs to the job and choose whether the customer can see them. They appear on the customer's invoice page to view or download.

Can I take a deposit before starting?

Yes (Pro plan). Set a deposit percentage on the quote; when the customer accepts online, a deposit invoice is created for them to pay straight away.

Does it handle CIS?

Yes. Turn on "I'm a CIS subcontractor", choose your rate (20%, 30% or gross) and the deduction is worked out on the labour lines only.

Can I show my NICEIC or NAPIT number?

Yes — add it to your invoice footer once and it appears on every invoice and quote.
