Built for how carpenters and joiners actually work

Timber bought before the job starts

Take a deposit when the customer accepts your quote, so materials are covered before you cut a thing.

Final payments that drag

Invoice the balance on completion and let PaySorted remind the customer until it's paid.

Site and second-fix work

Working on site for a builder under CIS? Deductions on labour are calculated for you.

Automatic chasing

Never chase a customer again

Every carpenter on PaySorted gets three ready-written reminders — Friendly, Professional and Firm — filled in with the customer's name, the invoice number, the amount and a payment link. They go out on schedule by email or text, and stop the moment the customer pays.

  • Before it's due, on the day, then 7, 14 and 28 days late
  • Sent from your business name — replies come straight to you
  • Customers can tap "I've paid by bank transfer" to pause reminders
  • Edit the wording and timings, or leave it to us

Quotes customers accept online

Customers accept your quote with one tap and their name — you get a notification, and the job is ready to book in.

Plus: quotes customers accept online, deposits, photos and certificates on each job, card and Pay by Bank payments, CIS and VAT on invoices, and Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent & Sage.

Deposits, text reminders, the customer page, the letter before action and accounting software connections are on the Pro plan and above. Everything else is on every plan.

Professional invoices, done right

Your logo and colours — or a clean name heading if you don't have a logo — with everything a UK invoice must show, whether you're a sole trader or a limited company, VAT registered or not. What must be on an invoice?

Questions from carpenters and joiners

Can I ask for 50% up front?

Yes (Pro plan). Choose 10%, 25% or 50% when you write the quote; the deposit invoice is created as soon as they accept.

Can I see when a customer has opened my quote?

Yes. You'll see when they open it, and get a notification when they accept or decline.

Does it connect to Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent or Sage?

Yes (Pro plan). Invoices and payments go across automatically, and unpaid invoices already in your accounts can be chased too.
